Commonly Asked Questions
Although I do get referrals from Cornish GP’s, the majority of the people that I treat self refer themselves.
If the pain is stopping you from living the life you deserve, then any improvement will be worth every penny. I cannot guarantee any miracles, but for only £35 I promise to do everything I can. As on a daily basis I find out what the root-issue is, and help my clients through hands-on treatment, exercise prescription and advice. Don’t worry if I do not think that I am the man for you, then I will refer you to another specialist who can. I can’t be fairer than that.
Yes. Adam has an up-to-date Enhanced DBS from the NHS. He just
asks that you or a responsible adult accompany your child throughout the treatment.
-> In Liskeard we only accept cash or cheque as we have no card machine on-site. Lloyds bank is only 50 metres away which has a cash point.
-> In St Blazey we have a card machine which accepts debit and credit cards.
You can, if your health insurers cover Osteopathic treatment. If they do cover treatment costs, ask us for a receipt and use this to get some money back.
Currently Adam is the only Osteopath working in Liskeard. If
you are uncomfortable with this you are welcome to bring somebody along with you to the treatments.

Absolutely, they just need to have an adult accompany them to all treatment sessions.
According to the NHS website: “Osteopathy isn’t usually painful, although it’s not unusual to feel sore or stiff in the first few days after treatment, particularly if you’re having treatment for a painful or inflamed injury. Your Osteopath will explain whether you’re likely to have any reactions.”
Only people who have had over 4-years of medical training and passed rigorous exams can call themselves an Osteopath in the UK. So you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.
There are no hidden fees. Each single treatment costs £35.
Adam is proud of the fact that he puts his clients’ needs first. If he isn’t sure that he will be able to get you better in a reasonable time he will be happy to discuss options with you.
